Welcome! Read through the New saddlehunter info section while you wait for the mantis. Noob info and advice and the glossary are good places to start. If I were you I'd get a sitdrag while you wait so you can start practicing, it takes more than you think! Also practice all of the shots full 360, I learned the hard way and missed an opportunity.

Welcome! I’m new to saddle hunting myself. I sure hope the saddle I ordered is more comfortable than a Swiss seat!

Once I understood the concept I was all about it. I ordered the Mantis saddle yesterday. This is a tactical approach to hunting that far surpasses traditional methods. Have not actually got into the saddle but dont know why anyone would ever hunt without it.

I just got my used saddle and its been a bit like being a kid again. I'm getting called back into the house from the yard. Lol
