I’m looking to build my own climbing sticks. Is it cheaper to build your own or buy used?

Obviously new, can’t even spell DIY right...

Just messing with you, grab a set of the API sticks from cabelas. $80 right now. Easy to mod if you want.

Poor mans beast stick (Pictorial)

Well after nutterbusters comment about the poor mans beast stick I ironically purchased a set and did the modification for all to see. Tools I used speed square, drill press with bits, marking pencil, tape, center punch, hammer, ratchet and pliers for hardware. So here is a little step by...
