New to saddle hunting and only second year hunting in Wisconsin!

Keep pinning those trees man! OnX needs to add a tree saddle icon right?

I actually live in Barnaveld WI. So thats about 25 miles west of Madison! I recently found some public land that looks like an incredible hunt, and after speaking with local game warden he confirmed that I can in fact legally hunt it. So yes I need tree saddle pins on OnX!!

Just outside of Madison, Cottage Grove. I hunted Goose Lake a lot last year. Didn’t get anything due to my own doing being my first year in all but did see a lot. Also over in Jefferson county, the Kettle Mariane is loaded with deer. Only hunted it a couple times but seen scrapings all over the place when I did go. Hopefully this year having the saddle and building off what I learned last year I can bring one!

Welcome to the site from oshkosh area! I will be camping in kettle moraine north at long lake the 5th-8th. Hoping to resume some scouting I did there last year. I haven’t hunted the area or scouted the south closer to you but would like to get a little more familiar within the area. All kinds of opportunities, not enough time.
