I am looking into trying saddle hunting. This is a scary idea....because when I try something new, I tend to go in 110% with all available resources
to figure out how achieve the best results. That said, where do I start? I’ve been drawn to the tethrd system, mainly because I stumble across their site and so far like what I see. I also like the idea of a diy project but with 0 experience in the ropes and saddles world maybe I should try a production model first then design something based off of that. I am a dry sponge looking to absorb any and all info/advice/opinions/even offer on gear that come my way. Thanks in advance.
Oh, I’ve been a PA bow hunter for 15 or so years and have thousands of hours logged from multiple types of tree stand set ups. In more recent times I’ve been taking a minimalist approach to allow for more deep and off trail public land sets.

Welcome from Arkansas. Dig in, read up and you’ll make a good decision. Before I found this site I was not into DIY. But now almost every part of my Saddle Set up is DIY
