Finally decided to get into the game after a couple years of researching and watching saddle hunting videos. Going to go with the sit drag/rc combo so I can customize for myself.
I think I have everything on my order.
Sit-drag
Rc harness
1/4 amsteel for bridge
3/16 amateel for prusik
Extra muddy lineman's rope
1" webbing belt with some buckles
4 climbing sticks
1 WE step for plywood platform

Anything else I should add? Trying to keep it light and not have a bunch of stuff hanging off of me.

I'll have my backpack with all my typical stuff. Thinking of making a daisy chain with some webbing

My wife and I are going to do the DIY HYS straps off Tetherd's YouTube channel, close to what I use in a stand and able to go all the way around the tree.

Are you planning to make a buried continuous loop for the Amsteel prussic?

Yep, watched a few videos and it doesn't look too complicated. I'm sure it's not as easy as the videos by any means but I think I can do it.

It’s not too difficult. I’ve done it a few times and I’m by no means a splicing expert.
