New to this.... Favorite Climbing Method???

I’m thinking of using my lone wolf hand climber seat as a platform. Do you add any straps or is it stable enough without?
I strap the bottom of it to the tree with a ratchet strap.

I've played around with strapping it, but I am not sure the risk of the platform moving is worth the effort of strapping it. Of course that is using it as a climber.

If you're thinking of using it as a strap on platform, then it would be easy enough and worth it to strap when your setting it up at hunting height.

Thanks for the input everyone. Due to the learning curve I probably will try a set of sticks and a ring of steps as a platform to start out with .I'll probably end up getting some WE stepps before the end of the season to try out as well.
