Hello from Illinois - Im new to saddle hunting and can't wait for my new gear to get here. Its been a long time since I was this excited about hunting!!! If only I didnt have to wait for 9 more months.... Anyway, I look forward to learning all about this saddle hunting thing.

Welcome from Metamora! That's outside of Peoria. Try to make the get together at Ramsey Lake, sounds like we'll have plenty of gear to check out and maybe see how other guys are going about it. Should be a good time.

Thank you but I dont feel like I have plenty of time! 4 to 6 weeks for a saddle, 8 to 12 weeks for SteppLadders!! Ugh!! My ADD is really struggling with this waiting crap.

I feel the same way. Dont know what it is about ordering a saddle but it has made me more excited about getting in a tree. Before i ordered mine i was considering goin strictly ground and pound.
