Howdy y’all!

I have been silent stalking the site for some time....finally created an account and I’m going all in, I am ordering a complete saddle setup and I got on the group buy list for the Kiwi Klimbers (the real reason I finally joined the group).Look forward to learning all about this way of doing things, hopefully I will have all the equipment in time to practice and be comfortable in my new setup in time for the season.

I feel there should be a disclaimer of how much money you will spend changing from a hang on or ladder stand set up to a saddle/climbers......plus whatever spa treatments my wife wants so she is relaxed when the CC bill arrives.
 
Welcome, enjoy the ride it will be a good one, albeit pricey if you try to keep up with some of these guys.

Welcome and I agree about the wife thing. Everything I purchase I have to decide if it is worth twice as much as it actually cost because I know my wife is going to spend an equal amount. I finally decided the Predator platform was worth $340 and pulled the trigger. I'm assuming I am going to notice some new 'antique decoration' somewhere in my house in the near future.

I’m from Denton and
@Scoutman is from Hickory Creek.

Not a whole lot of good public access for us, but some. Where do you hunt?
I typically hit LBJ, Lake Texoma Corps property, Lake Fannin (Caddo) Archery unit, Lake Lewisville (pig archery permit), Love Valley WMA, Hickory Creek WMA, Fobb Bottom WMA, and I put in for the Lake Grapevine lottery deer permit this year.

I am on the other side of the lake near Aubrey.
I have had a lease in Oklahoma the past few years and have access to a small private. Plan to enter some lottery chances, grapevine would be awesome. Want to pick up a lewisville/green belt hog permit as well as a lavon hog permit.

I have not hunted public around here but would love to find some more options.

Never hunted out of a saddle.... am all in hopefully I will have gear for this season (mantis/predator preorder and kiwi klimbers group buy).
