Hi folks,
New saddlehunter here, only my second season hunting. I'm in the Tethrd Menace Saddle, and working on figuring out the most comfortable positioning, after a couple of sits. I hunt public land (Zone 10). My climbing method is some wood sticks I DIYed and am less than thrilled with. I've been looking at the bullman outdoors Silent approach steps, and would love to hear any reviews from any of you who have used them or seen them used.
Thanks!

Welcome from Hudson.

I’ve tried the Bullman’s and I don’t prefer them. I’m more of a double step kind of guy, like a climbing stick or WE stepps. If you like single step climbing methods, the bullman steps themselves are fine but the cam buckle they come with can be frustrating to feed in some hunting conditions. If I was going to ise them I’d add a flat hook to the straps for easy attachment. Could also run an ocb strap from Eastern Woods Outdoors.

Welcome from coastal NC!!! And on the Bullman steps you are gonna get mixed feelings because just like every other method some like them and some people don't!! When it comes to climbing methods everyone has something they like and it works for them and it doesn't work for others the main thing to keep in mind is find what you like and are comfortable with and what works for you!! Personally I like the Bullman steps for a ROS(ring of steps) but alot of people don't!! And some people use them to climb and like them and some don't! Unfortunately when it comes to this nothing yet is the perfect solution!! So try what you think might work for you and it will come together good luck and stay safe!!

Welcome from SE Tennessee. I prefer sticks with double steps. Don't go cheap on anything safety related. It gets easier and more efficient with every hunt.
