Well I have been a lurker for a while, but I'm finally going to get me a saddle. So I spent the money and got me the membership.

I hunt pretty deep in National Forest here in VA. I also do some 1-3 days backpacking hunting and I'm tired of sitting on the ground when I'm deep in National Forest. I've always hunted out of treestands, but I am finally going to get me a saddle.
I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and have almost 200,000 acres of National Forest in my front yard.
I like to DIY alot of my own gear or at least modify it to better suit me.
 
Howdy! I grew up in Strasburg and now live in central VA. I hunt NF as well. Where in the valley you from?!

I hunt both ground and from saddle in NF - just depends on where I’m hunting.
