No stick climbing

So some folks have found my no sticks climbing video and posted to the diy section regarding some other questions. Seems like this is a better thread for this topic. Just going to drop the link here for those of you interested.

Nice video @Trailcamaddict Great job on the diy cast platform. As you point out where the aider is mounted on the platforn and the distance from the tree make a big difference. Currently I'm one sticking and learning 2TC.

I think the best overall, at least for my AO, is a hybrid approach.

2 sticks with fixed aiders will get me 10+ feet. From there, I’m either buried in cover or can then 2TC to whatever height. Best of both worlds: ease and height.

Very similar to @Red Beard method with the solo scout/aider combo. I used the same method for a couple seasons and have no complaints. Great video, thanks for sharing

Never tried it, but that’s pretty slick! If you rappelled down, it’d be that much better though. Great video BTW!
