I have a friend who uses the WE stepps. After seeing a couple of board prototypes I contacted WE about the possibility them producing a platform for their stepps. This may old news to some, but following is the response I got from them today.
"Hi,
Thanks for the email and your interest in our products. We also apologize about the delay.
At one point, as you mentioned, Andrew was toying with the idea of creating a Wild Edge platform. However, as he is constantly in the woods trying to perfect his style, he realized by creating a platform he would be adding just one more thing he would need to carry into the woods - adding to the overall weight of his Run-n-Gun bundle. Instead, what he uses are 3 to 4 Stepps (depending on the size of the tree) to place around the tree, so he can be mobile, 360 degrees. On top of that he is not adding another piece to carry into the woods, except a few more Stepps.
I know he hasn't ruled it out completely though, as he creates several different prototypes - but for this season, at least, we are not offering a Wild Edge platform.
I hope this helps to clarify things, and we do apologize if you were holding off for one with us. Keep checking in though to see what else we are putting out there!
Good luck this season!
All our best and Live Wild!
