Hey guys! I'm mainly asking this for a buddy but really wanted to get some input from folks on their opinions on Nomad hunting clothing for whitetail. For comparison, he is primarily looking at Sitka Stratus. His concerns are sound, quality, and camo pattern (getting busted) . Any first-hand knowledge of the products would be helpful. Also, he is 6'3" 205. Sizing would be helpful as well. Thanks!
 
My Nomad Cottonwood 1/4 zip is amazing. High pile fleece... windstopper... zippered pass-through hoodie pocket... zippered kangaroo pouch... zippered chest pocket. Can't help on sizing for your buddy though as mine is a small.
 
I've ordered (and mostly returned) several thousand dollars of their clothing--no exaggeration. My experience with Nomad has been very hit-or-miss. Some of their stuff really sucks (the turkey gear comes to mind)--cheap fabrics, low quality, poor fit. However, some of their stuff is AWESOME. I got the Whitetail Scrape Jacket for 50% off, and it's one of the best hunting garments I own. It has features and warmth that are way better than anything else at that price point ($140ish after the discount), and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a great, warm, quiet jacket but doesn't want to pay Sitka or First Lite prices. If you do get their gear, definitely hunt for a discount code first--like Sitka, I would never pay full price for their stuff.
 
+1 to nomad cottonwood. it's more comparable to sitka fanatic than stratus at a fraction of the cost when on sale. i also like the camo pattern better than sitka EVII most of the time, depending on the environment i'm hunting.
