I don't hunt far from Williamson. My land is actually off highway 16 west, off west Ellis rdGriffin???? I’m in Williamson. Let’s go to Waffle House.
A buddy of mine has rights to hunt the property and is aloud 2 helpers. Me and another fella help him clear roads and keep the property up for the rights to hunt. Gun/bow. Used to be 500 acres, but owners have been slowly selling parcels so now we're down to like 250Drive past Ellis 3 days a week. Are you in an archery club or gun/bow ????
That’s cool. I’ll shoot you a message and maybe we can hang out and engage in some saddle chat. Which saddle are you using?A buddy of mine has rights to hunt the property and is aloud 2 helpers. I made a sitdrag/hammock style saddle out of mil spec mesh, mil spec webbing, and dyneema. Of course back up by a climbing harness. Climbing DRT for the most part. That sounds good on the hanging out and chatting. Which saddle are you using? That’s cool. I’ll shoot you a message and maybe we can hang out and engage in some saddle chat. It starts with a host. Then it grows from there. There will need to be a location capable of holding however many people show. It will be tough to get guys together during hunting season. Preferably somewhere you can damage a few trees doing some climbing demo. Spurs and wild edge steps along with drilling really doesn’t damage a tree that much but if ten guys trying spurs for the first time use the same tree it won’t look good. It will likely heal fine but may draw some unwanted attention should someone want to host another one at the same location. It really doesn’t have to be anything elaborate. Anything from a handful of people meeting up at a local park to something like @g2outdoors has been hosting at Fort Stewart. Multi day to an afternoon get together. How does this usually happen? We set a date and place? Everyone makes a suggestion? Sorry, kinda new to this and excited to put a date on the calendar!!

I’m not in north Ga so don’t plan around my schedule. For me September 7th is a very important day. The first half of the day I’ll be getting everything squared away for opening weekend. After lunch I will be with my son on a dove field applying sunblock and convincing myself that 95* isn’t too hot to hunt.
My hunt club is in between Sharon and Washington.I’m in one outside of Sharon.
