If they can be flipped then why couldn't you add another step to make the novix double steps? Don't know if you can but just thinking out loud!!

Novix mini VS Helium

Muddy, XOP, and Hawk all are made in China. Novix and Lone Wolf are made in the US.
That helps make my mind up. I'm an American and I like American jobs
Eeek. At that weight might as well use Hawk Helium mini's and the steps will fold and pack tighter. I have the Novix and I think i'm going to be using my Hawk Helium mini's this season still. Hawk's are 2.2lbs per. Ends up being about 2.5-3lbs heavier as a total setup, for the 3 step aiders I use, the double folding step is well worth the weight gain.

I just bought the Hawk mini. Planning on buying the Trophyline Mission platform when it comes out.
Wish I would have waited on the sticks. Didn't know the Novix sticks would stack to the platform.

I saw how they stack, they sit really far away from the platform. Like almost a foot tall between the platform and sticks. I use the LWCG ambush with hawks and they're only 5" thick between both.

I sold my hawks and bought the novix minis mainly for this, Im getting that platform.

I just measured, 2 sticks in a stack laying flat on my bench, 5.5” , Novix minis.
I'm referring to how the sticks stack on the platform. They stack vertically rather than lie down. So while the sticks would only be 2-3" while on their side, on the platform if 4 sticks is 8-10", plus another 2-3" from the platform, it's stacking alot of weight away from your body. Kind of defeats the purpose of lighter sticks.

I watched that video last night, and while I don’t quite understand your take of it, I respect it, hopefully in a couple weeks that platform will be in stock and then I can find out!

That video that somebody earlier was referencing, thats not how a person would stack sticks to carry through the woods with this equipment, I understand the confusion but the mission is designed to carry 2 stacks, of 2 novix mini sticks, or obviously more sticks if you felt the need.

Yeah the way that they are stacked in that video doesn't make any sense. About anyway other way than that would be better. Mine should be here today.
What I'm saying is if you put your sticks horizontal rather than stacking them like their platform is designed to, it would probably sit lower profile.
This is what I'm referring to. The way they designed to mount the sticks doesn't make sense. There are ways to get a sleeker and lower profile fit without them. This can be done on any platform.
