First time poster, but long time saddle user. I didn’t even know this site existed until recently. I am glad I found it! So, here is my review.

I recieved my Mantis and Predator on Friday...Which was a total surprise because I didn’t receive a shipping notification. Anyway, the first thing that caught my eye was how well the Mantis was made. The stitching was perfect. I can’t find a flaw in it. This thing is super light! I can’t wait to walk past all the guys lugging climbers on my local WMA. Lol!

The Predator was great as well. I did have the same noise problem that has been reported, but I hit it with Graphite and that issue has disappeared. I also had fraying on my strap after the first use, but I have an extra XOP strap that I plan on using instead. Aside from that, this platform is awesome!

Overall, I am really happy with my purchase. I feel as though I have an unfair advantage with this system. I can not wait until my beast sticks to arrive and I will have the ultimate mobile setup!

Anyone else have something to say about the XL Mantis? At 6’-5” 250lbs, Im wondering if this thing will fit me comfortably or be lacking in material to cup me from lower back to under the thighs.

I’m 6’2” and 295. There’s plenty of material there. Not like a trophyline but there is just enough material where you need it.
 
I'm 6'-2" and 245 lbs. My XL Mantis fits very comfortably. For what it's worth.

I’m 6’2”, 235, size 40w, and it’s plenty comfy.

Hi wondering on sizing, i am 5'6" tall weigh 200 - 210lbs, and have a 38in waist, i ordered a large and now im wondering if i should of got the xl, i also hunt cold weather 20s and 30s and layer frequently, would i be better off in a xl?

I wear a 38 - 40 waist, and I think you will probably want to stay with the large. The first time I tried on my XL, my initial impression was that I could have gotten a large and it still would have fit fine.
If I were you, I'd get the large and try it. You can return it if you don't like the fit. The Tethrd guys are great, so they'd probably let you do a straight exchange for a different size. Just my opinion.
