Hey guys,

I bought a used trophyline saddle. Should I use the included tether webbing strap or setup a new tethr with rope?

Also for sizing, I bought an XL - Im 6'2 195. Do you think this size will work? I am currently out of town so I havent been able to try it out yet.

I liked the old webbing tether. It's different, but it works. Keep it, and buy an HSS safety line for $20 to try out too. Itll come with a prussic and carabiner, and then you can decide which you prefer.

Honestly, the medium I had was plenty big for me at 5'10" and about 180lbs. I think it'll be a little big on ya.

Yeah i bought it cheap from a friend so hopefullly it will atleast get me out there this year. If I like it I might have to purchase one of the new ones from T.L. I know that Mantis gets a lot of love on this site but I am not a fan of the amsteel bridge. Personally feel the strapping feels more secure even if it weights a bit more.

I'm 6'0 220 and a large was pretty roomy on me

Unfortunately you will be swimming in an xl. I’m 250 and the large fits me nicely

Yeah as stated above. I have an XL and it too is huge. I have a 38" waist and it is way too big.
 
I swiched ti a tether rope and like ut. The flat webbing wrapping around the tree was a pain. I am 5' 11 at 190 and the karge is ok. Extra may need more clothing to fill in.
