I am new to sticks and DRT climbing and saddlehunting as well.
Those two methods are what I want to practice this summer,a friend who is experienced with tree work will help me with the rope part. One sticking will take some practice,as does everything I guess.
I think i want to mainly use the DRT method, but for early morning sits in unprepped trees the one stick should work.
I want to be able to rappel down however with the double rope, and as long as i have a sturdy branch at hunting height i should be fine, correct?
Or is there a way to attach the rope to the trunk of a tree and rappel down?
