One stick climbers who switched to 2tc

We need a mathematical formula to correlate the lightness of a system, the weight of a person, their skill level, their level of desire to climb a tree, their aptitude to keep practicing when it seems tough, the cost of said system, the adaptability of it to multiple types of trees, the safety factor, the amount of metal in it, the noise factor, how long the SH.com thread is about it, how many threads there are about it...................... to really know which ultralight system is THE BEST!

So far all my tags filled from trees where Sets like this using branches saddle and tether.less than 2 lbs.3 tags where opertunity based audible plays when my a plan failed.2 of them where way out on elk hunts where people dont take tree climbing gear..mobile stand hunting is not realy a thing out here.

I switched to 2TC from no stick climbing with my predator platform last year. I can’t get as high per move but I feel I don’t have as much slack in my system while climbing and there’s no metal to metal contact. If I didn’t pay attention my safeguard would hit my platform sometimes climbing. I actually quit rappelling too when I switched to 2TC, just one less thing to keep up with and pack up once I’m on the ground.

Says a guy who climbs trees with no gear like a monkey.....best saddle hunter idea yet.

I am primarily a one-sticker but I 2TC as well.

I can one-stick up much faster and with way less moves. Getting around limbs is a lot quicker and easier too.

I really enjoy 2TCs simplicity! BUT, you still need something to hunt off of... (usually) 6B5132B7-2B39-42A9-8761-4BC0319C2187.pngD056A40A-61F4-4248-83CE-D2F4B72FD02F.png

Spring is coming, you have a ton of time to learn 2TC!
