My kestrel just arrived today! Now I’m think about more climbing methods... I got spurs for private land... but was thinking I might try one climbing stick and an aider and just moving it up as I go... diy sportsman has a pretty good video bout it.. who’s doing this and what’s your setup?? Plus tips and advice would be nice

I'll be one-sticking this year and holding onto my primal v-steps for a backup. I've pretty much shamelessly copied @boyne bowhunter's setup (youtube video here) with the exception that I modded an XOP stick instead of a hawk helium (DIY thread located here).

I use the one stick method as well and have a 42" webbing aider and on the outside of the webbing I put a 12" section of black hot water heater hose. Put three orange reflective strips on it for me to see...works very well.
