Can anyone tell me the difference between OnX and OnX Premium? Thx
I'm currently playing with OnX on the free 7-day trial. This is defintiely going to be worth the $ for me. I'm going with the one state $30 a yr plan (-THP discount code). All that info at my fingertips is going to come in handy. Those property lines, owner names and contact info could prove invaluable in the right situation. I recently stepped up out the stone age and acquired a Trac-Phone, just for the OnX...well that and my wife's sanity, since I hunt alone 90% of the time. My Garmin 64st is a battery eatin thang, so I am looking forward to using the phone and OnX in a lot of instances, instead.
Make sure you download your maps before you head out and use offline mode while in the woods. It will save a ton of battery and if you are in a poor cell reception area you may not be able to get the maps otherwise. The GPS works regardless of cell reception. The little portable battery power packs come in handy as well.

I'm trying to like Gaia. I've been watching some YouTube videos to get the handle on using it. It is very powerful and just as capable as OnX and you get the entire country for $40.[/. I had both and I think Gaia his worlds ahead of Onyx.
I use Gaia exclusively. I had both and I think Gaia is way ahead of Onx.I'm trying to like Gaia. I've been watching some YouTube videos to get the handle on using it. It is very powerful and just as capable as OnX and you get the entire country for $40.

I’ve not used onx, hope this isn’t a dumb question, but how does it compare to hunt stand. I use hunt stand. It was free with in app purchases. I paid $10 for a year of property lines with owners name.
Thanks, I’ll just save my money for other saddle stuff!! LolI've used hunt stand the past 2 seasons and just recently purchased OnX because of all the talk I hear about it. So far the only benefit I've seen is OnX shows public land better than hunt stand. Which doesn't help me much since I don't hunt public land. I have also noticed hunt stand is more current and accurate on property lines in my area.
