Hi all - just wondering if you all leave the top steps along with the OOAL Scout Platforms? Is there any benefit or is it useless added weight?

I'm super happy with the build quality and how it fits the stick - I got the straight platform and can't wait to use it. I have a Treehopper Treesuit platform also but I think I'll be using this more since the setup so for is way easier and faster than attaching a platform - also, big "props" to Eastern Woods Outdoors for excellent customer service!
 
No. It would not fit right if you tried to do that. The bolt heads for the top steps would interfere with the platform being flush on the stick.
