Once upon a time I had the original Latitude method and it was very comfortable for me. Like an idiot, I sold it. Recently bought a method 2 figuring it could only be better. I’m not getting the same comfort out of it. I’m not sure what is different dimension wise it just doesn’t feel the same.

Anybody know what changed other than the magnets holding the two sections together? There has to be something else.

I believe it got a little larger, other than that I can’t recall.

I have an og latitude so I’m following out of curiosity!

I noticed the same thing. Luckily I kept my original method and have done multiple sits and alternated saddles several days in a row to make sure it wasn’t just a first impression or something that I was doing differently. The gen 2 is stiffer webbing and seems to be causing hot spots that I don’t get with the original.

That’s good to know. It’s not just me.

IMG_1847.pngIMG_1846.pngIMG_1845.pngI am not the only person to do this but thought it might be good to share here. I added magnets to my method 1 to give it the same functionality as the method 2.

You guys ready to revive an oldie? Google brought me back here when I was trying to figure out why I don’t like my method 2 now that I have one! Thankfully still have my og method!!! The 2 is EXTREMELY comfortable! I HATE the magnets and wish it had limited straps between the panels instead like the 1. I one stick and it’s a pain to climb with imho and then everytime I take weight off to shift around a bit in the tree the lower panel sags down and my gosh is it annoying!

I like my original Method more than the Method III.
It ain't as comfortable but I like it better.

I’m just the opposite. I had the M1 and now have the M2 which I love. The M1 was a great saddle and served me very well but the M2 is much more comfortable and adjusted for me easier. For me I went with the largest M2 which I believe is the reason I like it better. I run The top panel very high above my waist against my lower back and the lower panel at the bottom of my butt cheeks because I tend to sit about 50% of the time. When I stand I slide the bottom panel up slightly. I hope you can get it where you like it better.
