Anybody make a self bow? Know where to buy osage staves that are ready for building?
Have any pics of your self bow?

I could maybe come up with some staves. But I don't know what to do with them. And they'll be green.

Thanks for offering. I'm wondering if I might have access as well....just green would be the problem.

My buddy sells them already chased to a single growth ring and ready to build. Hes in Oklahoma. Not sure what shipping would cost. Heres my selfbow from this year

I build self bows and have a large supply of seasoned staves but they aren't osage. Osage doesn't grow in Minnesota. I do have some osage staves and I got them by trading with some people on the Primitive Archer forum. If you haven't visited that site, you may want to check it out. There is wealth if knowledge on that site and a bunch of good pictures of self bows.

If you are interested in another type of stave, let me know. I have iron wood, hack berry, and black locust. All of these make great bows.
