Ozcut Hurricane broadheads

Well they are 3 blade single bevel. I can’t find a jig anywhere for them. So I have been using my diamond stones. I can get them close to sharp but not what I would use for hunting sharp. I have no problems getting a knife razor sharp using the same stones. I’m at a loss here LOL

I havent used this jig of his but if I were shooting that style head I would probably give it a shot

I took a closer look at those ozcut hurricanes and I'm not sure this system would work for you either, this system is more designed for double bevel heads and the offset of the hurricanes blades look like they will be problematic also.

Have you reached out to ozcut to see what they recommend?

I have removed the factory bevel and flattened it out a bit. This seems to be the only way that I personally could get them sharp. But now that I have then sharpened they hold their edge well it seems. And fly amazing. But what a serious pain to get them sharp LOL

Glad you found something that worked out for you
