I thought Ozone treatment might break down chemicals like permethrin. But based on this article, it sounds like they might work together, which would be nice because it would eliminate the need to carry a thermacell. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience?

Key sentence: "Reaction of ozone with permethrin appears to be hindered by the electron-withdrawing chlorine atoms adjacent to the double bond in permethrin. "

I have no experience to speak of in terms of the science but I do know this ... Permethrin kills those little buck- toothed demons ( ticks)and for that I am grateful. :D
