I was hunting a nice trail that cuts through some large rocks at the top of the mtn. It's a good area for bear and this male got a little too close. Took a 21 yd shot and hit near side lung and heart. He barreled down the side of the mtn and died quick.

Nice! I am still waiting for my elusive PA bear! Had two at 5 yards the first day of archery which means I won't see anything in range now that they are in season. Great job man! A PA black bear is a trophy let alone with a bow, nice work!
