Hit square near side rib just under backstrap. Broke it completely. It was angled away and steep so a lot of vitals to go thru. It was into the chest on far side, but barely. Can’t fault the broadhead. Did it’s job. Shooting about 500 grains. I just guess that in hindsight, maybe a heavier setup and higher foc and I get an exit hole. And a smaller diameter arrow. I’m shooting a Goldtip traditional and I did want to go to the Goldtip trad classic and more weight up front, maybe a single bevel. But those were plans for the offseason. I guess now I have time to get it done.
