Any tips or ideas for hanging a pack, once you’re set up on a platform. I use a pack to carry my sticks and platform as well as carrying out my harvests (If I’m lucky). I know some guys are against packs but I use one, so any new ideas would be cool to hear.

I have an extra OCB strap I use with some kydex j hooks and a grimloc or two. Just strap it and adjust where you want the hooks. You can also girth hitch paracord or continuous loops to hang stuff. No metal other than the OCB.

I like the para cord girth hitch idea, thanks for the advice.I like getting new ideas and new input thanks again.

Girth hitched via some paracord is what I use as well. I also place my pack at knee height right in front of me. This allows me to straddle my pack when sitting giving me a more comfortable sit vs straddling the tree. Just one of those personal preference things.

That’s exactly what I’m hoping to do this season. Get my pack knee height.

I hang my pack from a girth hitched gear strap(on the tail end of the strap) on my weak side( 10 o'clock) just at knee high to the center of my pack. I can reach everything in the pack and I can shoot over it and move around it should I need to move to that side of the tree.

Thanks for the reply, I like this idea also. Gives me a new set up to try out.

I use a versastrap, girth hitched around the tree, the tail hangs on the right (weak side, im right handed). Then clip top of my pack about knee to waist high on the tail.

Thanks for the replies. Always like to see how others set up and take some new ideas into the woods.
