I hope this is the right thread to post the question in.... I was watching youtube the other night and a guy was using a set of novix minis, It looked like
They were being held together with all thread and 2 large plastics screw in caps... Looked like the plastic caps screwed down on the sticks and held them togeather... The all thread was on the outside of the sticks and the plastic caps(knob) was screwed down on the to hold them togeather. i have serched the forum to try to find something like this. Is anywone familliar with this? (I cannot seem to find the video again)

Go to your "history" on YouTube if you were signed in and you'll be able to find it. It's under "Library" on the phone app.

Something like this? I remember seeing a youtube video where a guy showed building that. But I don't remember who it was. I'm sure I saw it on this site.

I tried I left it on when I fell asleep so it has about 24 hours of shows in there. I did find out it is the beast stick rod... It didnt look like he had a hole drilled through the sticks though. I think I am going to drill a hole and order the stick rod from beast and use that method to stack my sticks thanks for the help guys.

You may like the rod, but I highly recommend voile straps. Much less fiddly, faster, and quieter than the threaded rod w/nut method in my opinion. (I have beast sticks not novix)... But I also started carrying my sticks in pairs and don't even use the voile straps any more, beasts stay together enough til they get strapped to the pack... Your experience may vary.

I will look into it

Just make your own rod, way cheaper than paying $25 for a threaded rod and knobs. I have about $10 into mine and I made two sizes. Parts are easy to find at Lowes/HomeDepot/Menards.
