I tried this recipe a few years back with whitetail top round roast and shared it with some folks. It has since become a staple among our friend group. We’ve made it with bear, elk and as said above, whitetail. Mainly we use the larger muscle groups from the hind quarters. It’s easy, taste amazing and presents well. Especially at parties among non hunters. It also makes the best Reubens I’ve ever had.
