The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

I've applied for a patent for a product I developed but that's been years ago and surly doesn't make me an expert.
Thanks @ricky racer , this is unfortunately going the other way. Lawsuit threat against me, the little guy.
I'm no expert and I don't know where you are in all of this, but...It is my understanding that it's all about licensing agreements these days. I'm sure your not looking for a partner, but you could offer them a piece of the action and turn this situation around into a positive relationship. Just an idea...

The tone of the email I received didn't seem to leave room for that option.
Ok so if the patent is so broad that no one else can sell anything with holes then so be it. That is ridiculous but for this to be carried further than a cease and desist letter is someone being a bully. That action would would keep me and other hunters from doing any business with the individual.
That stinks. I can't imagine which of your products this is. Patent laws are weird and until the beast/lwcg stink I didn't realize you could patent the manufacturing process used to make a certain item. I don't know if you got a cease and desist notice from someone or a verbal threat but I would at least want the patent number so you can research it.
@DanO I would be careful what you say in an open forum about this. I could see this thread taking an ugly turn and claims for other 'damages' occurring from whatever company has the issue.
I have a friend who is a patent lawyer for a big company that rhymes with cow. I can see if he can help you out.
I was simply asking for patent help and this thread took a turn real quick. I've notified the moderators to delete/lock if needed.
