Placement of leg straps on Mantis

Hey guys just wondering if anyone else finds it more comfortable to hook the leg straps to the front loops that are sewn onto the bridge loops. And if y’all thought it was safe. So the first pic is where I think you’re supposed to wear it and the second pic is how I’ve BEEN wearing it. I think they are supposed to be used for the microfit adjuster but I’ve been using them for my leg straps?? Like I said I’m just curious if anyone else is doing the same and if it’s safe . They can also be hooked up near your hips. I'm pretty sure the leg straps are not rated for a fall so IMO it would be safe.
