I just git a ridge runner platform, has always just used the steps on the top of my sticks. I was wondering if you could use the daisychain to attach it to a tree so i could loose the buckle that came with it. It seems like on the right tree the daisy chain might not hit at the right spot and may be too loose. Does anyone have suggestions?

I tried using a VersaStrap with my Podium to replace the buckle. I just did not feel that I could consistently get it tight enough, so I ended up keeping the buckle. I zip tied one side of the buckle so it stays on there.

Mini versa strap for me on my ridge runner. If it does not fit on the loop, put some twists in the strap to shorten to length. I don’t think that can be done easily it’s daisy chain.

Mini versa strap can be a little fiddly, but get a process down for you and you may find it a good decision.
