Hello, newbie (sorta) to the saddle. I have these steps I was going to use for my platform for the time being. I really don't want to spend any money this year on a platform. Will this set up be safe and effective to get through the season?

I think they’re cranford? Folding with stainless loops for the ratchet strap?

The Steps are Fine but I Don't Know About Those SS Rings Or if That Strap is Rated W/those Hooks??
