Players who ruin it for the team

I hunt near white county, is that near you Squatch? so far this year has been the year of close calls but I did manage to get one deer in Indiana.

I’m hunting in central Indiana

Hamilton county mostly so pretty close man
Yeah I agree a lot of close calls
If I could’ve harvested 1/1000th of the deer I’ve seen I’d be done

I've gotten zero deer this year.

Yes, I was referring this morning to the 2020 thread. But it has been a pretty common theme these days. Too many times guys haven't wanted to play nice together, and bickering back and forth has gotten some really good discussions shut down.
I would just rather see the offenders on those threads put in time out, as opposed to entire threads getting locked down.

From talking to the locals, it sounds like there is a pretty good number of deer around here (and some real giants)
I just kicked up 4-5 tonight doing some scouting out behind the barn, maybe 150 yards away from it. I also found a belly high rub a hundred yards behind the property line, right at the head of a great terrain funnel.
I've not really been off my property this season (1st in Kentucky), but I plan to do a lot of scouting in the surrounding Daniel Boone this off season.
It would be flippin' awesome to see an elk, but from what I understand they are further east, I'm a county or two away from the "elk zone".

I saw a roadkill that I would’ve bet money on was an elk cow close to Lexington
I could be wrong though
I’ve heard Great things about Daniel Boone
I’ll be entering the elk Draw again (didn’t get drawn last year)
I love Kentucky though man I hope your feeling the same

Wpw, awesome. We did 38 turkeys one day a few years ago, coup to freezer...none of them weighed in less than 30 lbs...I don't envy you- you work harder than I do these days!

2 deer and a hog with longbow and 2 deer with rifle so far. I hadn’t been hunting in probably 3 weeks. Got till Feb 10. Rut is just starting here.

I’m headed to Florida soon to hog hunt
Cool to hear from you. I first heard your name on the saddle hunter podcast and listened to you talk. I miss that damn podcast

So there I was, sitting down reading through a good thread, lots of great ideas being kicked around, good discussion... seen a couple of posts I would comment on once I finished getting through. As I got to the end of the page, my eyes caught it... "not open for further replies". What? What could possibly happen in THIS discussion to shut it down?!
I go a page or two further, and there it is. The comment I know is going to have something to do with it. I read a little further, *sigh*... well, that killed this thread.

So, for those who have watched team sports, you'll notice that when a player is committing fouls, that player is called for it. If he keeps fouling, he might foul out. If his penalty is flagrant, targeted, or unsportsmanlike, he might get ejected, even suspended. However, the team gets to keep participating.

It would be great to see those who insist on being foul penalized, without it ruining the game for the entire team, time and time again. At least that's my take.
Should have seen the post before those post started, I think he may be ejected from the game, it was bad.
