So I have a set of the LWCG mini sticks and recently switched to the Tethrd mini versa straps. So far I love it. I used 1/4” inside diameter rubber tubing on the bolts for wrapping my straps around for storage. Now, I wonder has any company ever thought about building something similar? Something such as a threaded metal sleeve that maybe has a footer of some style on the end to contain the straps even better? I am in the Air Force and know NOTHING about working with metal or I would try.
I know that this will slightly limit trees that can be climbed but so far I have had zero issues. Any help or ideas on where I could buy or if this even is a thing would be awesome.

I just wrap mine around the inner part of the v-brackets. It does seem like they are barely on there but the bungee helps keep them in. I get why you do it that way though, please post if you do find some cap nuts that work for you. I like that idea better than how I’m doing it. I guess it could possibly interfere on really small trees depending on how far the cap nut would extend it.
