Hi - I have a Tethrd sys hauler bag and it keeps coming out of the webbing because it does not snap down. I was looking at the Trophyline grey square pouch, which does have molle snaps…anybody know it it is big enough for both lineman’s and tether, or would I need two of them? Anybody have a better pouch recommendation? My ropes both have ropeman’s on them and fairly large carabiners.

Thanks!

I use two of the water bottle pouches that EWO sells. One for my rappel setup and the other for my LB and tether. The smaller zip up pocket on the rappel pouch holds my dynaglide pull down rope and rappel device. The zip up pocket on my LB/tether pouch holds my ATC (backup rappel device) and my gear hanger.

best in the biz. One easily holds linesman and tether
This thing is like a black hole. I keep my linesman with ropeman and carabiner, 2 squirrel steps on strap, gear strap and still have room. It’s dead quiet too.

@beaston roll pouch….send this guy a pm. My rappel rope straps in, I roll it up with tether inside . I have a few prussik loops and a 6’ long amsteel daisy chain in the pockets. I still use a dump pouch for pull down cord, gear hanger, back strap, ATC, Biners. One pouch on each side and it’s pretty streamlined. I could put way more in the roll up, but it would get really big!

I had a tethrd roll pouch that seemed to be pretty decent, never really had a good chance to use it due to gear changes etc. my standard has been a latitude pouch (the bigger one) on one side for my tether with biner and prusik, and my gear strap, the other side is an Amazon special and holds my linesman belt and pull rope. They have done me plenty good but I’m waiting for my new pouch now to switch out the Amazon for the smaller latitude pouch. So obviously I like the latitudes and though they seem to attach the same as the sys haulers I’ve never had an issue. the Amazon is not too quiet of a material and has kind of a stiff loop at the top with a cinch cover that doesn’t open well enough for ease of use when stowing my cordage after use while I’m setting up.

I use d-clips, that way I can change them out/ move around easy

Trying to figure out how it keeps disconnecting.

You should go through the molle from bottom to top with the metal link catching the top of the molle preventing pull through. Unless the molle is out of spec and very loose, it shouldn’t disconnect.

As to the pouch/no pouch on the saddle debate, I run 2 but IMO everyone should have 1 with a tether and linemans belt in it. Rationale being you could forget or drop everything but as long as you’re wearing your saddle, you can climb up and down.

I second the big Latitude pouch. I use a Cruzr pouch just because I have them good pouch hard to get stuff in hanging on a tree. Latitude pouch works really well.

I have 2 of DanOs fleece pouches. They are going on their 3d hunting season, holding my tether and LB in one and my equipment hanger with hero clips and small carabiners in the other. They've been great.

Found these gems on amazon in a 2 pack for $18. And it can be folded and stored small, snap molle, and it easily fits my recliner, tether, garda hitch foot loop extra biners and gloves. Has a bungee cinch top.

I have a pouch and a kifaru water bottle holder, I prefer the water bottle holder as a pouch and will be getting another to replace the pouch. They stay open, can close, are simple, and also match up for use with my kifaru Stryker pack so multi functional
