Contrary to what most others tout, my best bucks have been taken not as a result of post or pre season scouting. They have all come as a result of in season scouting and seizing the moment on the right sign.
I'm interested how you scout in-season without blowing out areas. I attempt to find in/out routes to trees in areas unused by deer, so I don't see any sign going in or out to adjust my spots.
Also, this is my first season in a saddle, and I'm looking to be more mobile for afternoon hunts than sitting in fixed trees. But unsure how to scout on the way with causing a disturbance.
