Wanted to add a couple bullman steps to the strap on my predator to get some good all around movement. The loop on the strap won’t go thru the slot on the steps. Anyone try this or have any ideas to get the strap through them? Tried to pull the strap past the buckle but it won’t go all the way through.

It seemed like too much of a hassle for me so I set a ring of bullman steps on an ocb strap a few inches higher then where I am setting the predator and then I set the platform. The ocb strap makes it a much easier setup after you have done it a few times

I use one slotted squirrel step on the backside. I find it helpful should I need to swing off the platform to put my foot on for balance even though it is higher than the platform.

Might have to try the ocb strap idea. Was trying to avoid buying anything else since I have a bullman ros already. Maybe I’ll try to trade out on the classifieds.

if the folded end of the strap is hanging up on the predator cam buckle, then using a magnifying glass/reading glasses and carefully slice the threads on that tag end, as it does not hold any weight....then remove the buckle, put your steps on, and then sew the fold back with needle and thread

i personally wouldn't want the steps up that high, also i would be careful with the plastic bullman steps as if not SUPER tight they will flip over on you, then new metal ones will not only not flip but also sit lower which would be an added plus (closer to platform)

lightest easiest method is probably a separate strand of steps on an amsteel daisy chain and then do a trucker's hitch with the daisy chain, which gets tighter than a cam buckle and you can put it wherever you want/even with platform
