Predator XL Painted-Cipher

I gave a go at Cipher camo. I’m sure there’s one or two more colors, but I ended up using 5 shades of brown.
1) Base coat of lightest #1
2) Sponge #2
3) Tear masking tape to create stencils, mask, paint #3
4) Mask again, paint #4
5) Mask again, paint #5-the darkest.
6) Mask again, paint #3&4 mixed
7) Take off tape, sponge sparingly with 1, 2, 3, 4
8) Sponge somewhat aggressively with #5

I thought about going back and using a fine brush to do the fine contour lines, but I opted out. I was sick of painting and pleased with the results at this point.

Predator platform in a First Lite pattern?! Them Tethrd boys are gonna need to change their jeans!
Good-hearted teasing aside, you did an AWESOME job with this! If you want a little extra "flair," I used some of my wife's blood orange fingernail polish to paint inside the "Tethrd" and "Predator" indentions on the side of the post, and I really love the look.

Thanks fellas. I’m an art teacher, so I’m a bit ocd when it comes to the colors.

Here’s what I used:
1-Almond
2-Khaki(the one that’s part of the camo kits)
3-Nutmeg
4-Dark Brown
5-Walnut

Ive got a few different cipher pieces, all different fabrics, and all are slightly different tones. These colors seemed to be the best “middle ground.” I will say, the Nutmeg came out way more red than I expected, so I ended up misting over it with the khaki on step 6.
