Preferred Stick Attachment Method

I tried the daisy chain and versa strap and didn’t like either method due to not getting tight enough. I’ve debated trying the rope mod but I really don’t want to deal with untying half hitches when my fingers are froze.
Just tie your half hitch with a loop in it like your shoe laces. When done just pull tag end and unwind. Super simple. If you still have the versa straps just use them as a rope mod. Works pretty good.

Daisy chain with trucker's hitch method (3X leverage when tightening) locks them tighter than cam buckles (2X leverage) or any other method I'm aware of.

I may have to try it. I sold the versa straps but may try the 1/4” Amsteel rope mod. Are there any downsides to it?

I ran daisy chains and had just tried a different method right before I went the U1S. Look up Nutterbuster on the YouTube and he has a great method for simply adding twists to the line and cinching down. And setting the rope.

I only used the versa straps as rope mods when I didn't like how big of a pain they were to get on and off. Don't see why 1/4 amsteel wouldn't work. 3/16 or 1/8 would be plenty strength wise.

I got some versa straps. There the mini’s from tethred that I don’t need…. If ya wanted to try those
