Primal v-treestep

Are there any statements out there regarding just how accepted they are on public land?

Not that I’m aware of, however, on the WE website it states that their stepps are legal on “all public land nation wide”.

I see the Primal v-steps are sold out everywhere now too. Shocking how no one is the hunting equipment business saw the saddle surge coming. Hell Tethered could be printing money if they had more platforms in stock!

Are there any statements out there regarding just how accepted they are on public land? I was using them this weekend in the backyard and they ate up my tree and phone pole more than my old climber would.

Nope, just pull and it tightens. Like others have said though, they're too loud and heavy. I tried it once and cut them.Nice hardware though, I'll re-purpose it for something else.
I quieted down the one I use for my platform as the cam buckle is nice for getting exactly the right tension. 1 is easy enough to quiet, but for a bunch of them seems like it would be a bigger vhassle.

I bought 12 of the primals and modified them w a strap and already bent 3 of them. Haven’t been pleased w that outcome. Can somebody tell me if I am doing something wrong? I am thinking the primals are of a cheaper quality of metal as I haven’t heard of the we getting bent.

I've been using the primal for two years and have bent several of them also. I assume they are cheaper metal then the WE steps. They have to make up the cost difference some how.

.02 ..I just bought 12 primals too. Bent one the senond time out. I think I over-cammed the step. Just couldn't seem to get it locked on and just inching the rope little by little seemed to have been enough to bend it. I think there's a sweet spot that has to be found with practice ...cheaper metal for sure though.
