The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Upgrade to a paid member for $15/year to post in the classifieds. Otherwise PM the seller.

It used to be that way, but within the last few months they went to a paid membership program instead of the post requirement

You don’t need membership (ie annual fee) to reply to classifieds. You should be able to see, read and reply in the classifieds. If you are unable to, let me or another moderator know.

I'm unable to reply or ask questions understanding was that you only had to pay to become a member to be able to post items for sale if you could help me I would would greatly appreciate it!

I don't think that's quite right @pesqimon. I don't think you can post or reply in the classifieds without a membership. If a non-member wants to ask a question they need to PM the seller.

Could be. The rules amendment only mentioned that the classifieds would remain “viewable” so it could be that this is working as normal. I’ll get some clarification.
"Starting October 25, 2019, saddlehunter.com will be offering a membership option. For an annual fee of $15.00 users who upgrade to a "SH Member" will receive access to the classifieds. Additionally, starting in 2020 only SH Members will be permitted entry in the annual deer hunting contest. Users who do not upgrade will remain "SH Users" with access to the full site minus the classifieds and contest (in 2020). SH Users will have no classifieds access. If you do not plan on upgrading this notice serves to give you a period to wrap up your current transactions. Thank you.

That was the original message that went out. Based on members feedback the rules were changed so that non-members could view the classifieds. If you have a question about a product simply send a PM to the member who posted it.
Non members can view the classifieds but can not post at all. In order to contact a seller they must do so with a PM.
thanks for the clarification @redsquirrel, I read the original post and decided i was going to purchase membership anyways, so i didn't really continue to read that post
