I’ve heard that deer like eating pumpkins. Is this true? I have a cam on new property to learn it for next year, going to help or hurt?

I have had bits of pumpkin out in backyard for a week now and deer feeding on lawn/red clover 2-3 occasions per day and they have not touched the pumpkin at all nor the mexican plumbs. YMMV

what did you carve in the pumpkin? that's the key.

I don’t know if they’re a deer’s favorite but usually throw them out after Halloween and they will get eaten quick. You gotta break them apart first before they freeze up so the deer can get at the insides
