Is there a way to mark or save a thread to come back to later. For instance, if there is a DIY thread that I want to try out this spring, can I save it in some way that I can easily find it come spring time?

There is a "watch thread" button at the top right directly above the first post in the thread.

Yeah, I saw that, but unless I am missing something that only shows the thread when there is a new comment on it. If there are no new comments/posts, it doesn't show up in the "watched thread" list, even if you have marked it as "watched"
