questions about amsteel bridges and prussiks

I am venturing into DYI amsteel bridges and prusik for personal use. I have the following questions:

should i use 1/4 or 3/16 for prusik knots.

is the Combination of amsteel (prusik) and samson predator 7/16 (as bridge) considered safe? I do not want to overlook anything.

if i go the full DIY utilibridge, what size of rope for the prusik and what size for the bridge?
 
1/4” for bridge and 3/16” for prusik
