Quick tree hopper question

Thanks! I bought a Irwin for my cordless drill. Didn't want to drill too deep with it. I'm trying out some stainless round 8" long. I think it's just as strong as grade 8?
 
That bit is in my dewalt makes for great presets. I would assume so grade 8 is overkill. If u like the bolts u need to find some titanium ones way lighter
 
I'm too cheap to worry about weight. I come across some scrap 3/8 stainless at work. Enough for about 52 for $7.50!!
