Not sure this is the right forum but I just ordered a Quietkat Ranger with a trailer, paneer bags, extra battery and loads of accessories. All of it for $4600 after tax and shipped free.... Amazing military discount.... 30% off..... I will keep you all post on hoe much I like it, but I feel safer in the woods at my age on an assisted bike than walking; especially when scouting in the summer heat......

I hope so... I have a cheap bike but it is not a fat tire and here in FL it cannot handle the sand...... Getting that much off made it a no brainer for me....
You got a great deal. I don’t have the bags or an extra battery. The extra battery is huge!!! You’ll get a lot of use out of it!!

I’m in FL as well now and was looking at that exact Bike because of the military discount as well. Definitely keep me updated. Thanks!

Is the extra battery useful? I've been looking at the 48v17ah battery and the range is advertised at 60+miles on a 750 watt motor I want.

I read your question first without my glasses and answered the wrong thing.... For what I need I am not sure how useful the "extra" battery will be, but the included battery was ~13ah and the extra is >17ah. I am going to make the bigger the primary battery. We will see if I ever use the smaller extra or if I sell it to someone who needs an extra... TBD... For hunting conditions, I would expect the stock battery to get maybe 15miles (towing gear, rough terrain). If my guess is correct, the larger battery will get 20 miles per charge.... That 60 miles in on level pavement with a light load..... I am sure my estimates are pessimistic, but I feel like it will keep me safe in the woods without stressing over battery life.

Got the bike in a couple days ago.... It is awesome.... I removed the throttle because where I plan to use it you have to have a class 1 bike.... Lots of power... Slowly peddling is just as easy as pushing a throttle... Will probably not really use it much in season, but it will be awesome for camera setting and moving....
