Congrats.

With all the crazy anti-hunters out there, I'd not disclose all that personal info. Just a suggestion.

Good luck on your hunt!

I think he meant your personal info from your quota photo. I just took it down for you.

What’s the regulations on hunting state land with an airboat in Fl?

Not sure but go on myfwc and hit the hunting tab. Then left side WMA brochures then right side has the different wmas click on the one you want to check out. Two tabs brochure only is what you want to know other tab is map only gives you map acres of WMA and legend.
I think there’s one on the Kissimmee River that has airboat hunts. Not sure about Everglades.

LOL, althought I have to say I think if someone showed up at bongo's house when he was there and confronted him I think they'd be the ones in trouble!

X2. First they would have to get through the gate gated community then the hound dog.

In the Everglades, man ok slough is not far from python country. You might just end up hunting them.

I hunt a lot closer to python country when I don’t have the quota. I hunt right in the middle of it but haven’t seen one yet and I grew up there.
That being said I guess it’s only s matter of time. I don’t get near as much as I used to.

I hunted Twin rivers a couple times where Suwannee crosses I10 it was really good. Forgot about that place till you mentioned Suwannee it’s right outside of Live Oak.

Twin Rivers looks like it is probably similar topography. Did you set up near the river in the hardwoods or in the pines?

The hardwoods had no cover the deer were in the pines. Had a really nice buck lock up in some pretty thick brush at about 40 yards one time but couldn’t get it done.

Call me crazy but I’ll take 90F over 20F ANY DAY. We hunted an oak ridge this past season when it was low 20’s with a healthy 15-20MPH gust and boy lemme tell you I was never so happy to feel my fingers again!

Not sure how you can sit still and freeze but more power to y’all

I’ve hunted Citrus but never spent enough time to learn it. It’s been about 10 years ago I found a spot I liked in th SW corner around a Golf Course.
